Our Inspiration
At Stoic Woodcraft, we are inspired by the natural beauty of wood and the creativity of our clients. We believe that our work should be a reflection of its owner's personality and style. I make furniture, cabinets and household items in my shop, I also create custom doors, windows and repairs for your home.

I have had the opportunity to work in a professional custom cabinet and furniture shop for over 20 years as a hobby and side-gig. In 2020 I had the opportunity to build the shop of my dreams and retire from plant maintenance. My shop and methods are based on what my mentor and friend, Steve Godish at Sublime Design has shared with me over the years.

We love wood. We know how to find great deals on premium materials. We network locally to find deals on re-purposed materials and other lumber with character that people in a hurry would describe as "defects". Our philosophy is to spare the stain and bring out natural beauty.

In addition to custom furniture, we offer a range of woodworking services including cabinetry, millwork, and architectural woodworking. At present, I have opted out of General Contracting (CCB 253592). I have voluntarily put my contracting business in hibernation to focus on the in-shop capabilities.
